1.Contamination Prevention: The double rubber lips (primary and secondary) form a tight seal against the bearing’s inner ring. The internal stainless steel spring applies constant, uniform pressure to the lips, ensuring they stay in contact with the rotating inner ring—blocking dust, dirt, sand, or water from entering the bearing. Even in dusty construction sites or muddy agricultural fields, this prevents abrasive particles from scratching bearing raceways (a top cause of premature bearing failure).

2.Lubrication Retention: Bearings rely on grease or oil to reduce friction between rolling elements (balls/rollers) and raceways. The 135210 seal traps this lubricant inside the bearing, preventing leakage due to centrifugal force (from high-speed rotation) or vibration. This eliminates the need for frequent re-lubrication and maintains consistent friction levels.
